In this masterclass series I guide you in flow & techniques developed over a decade of training, flow explorations, performances, burlesque, and play. This intensive course will sharpen your skills for directing and guiding the weighted veil, freeing you to awaken new ways of getting into your body, into the flow, and accessing the spiritual & healing side of dance with silk. Connect Silk to Skin as we explore how to lay, wrap, drape, float, skim, and hold the silk using the body to hold a myriad of shapes. Create texture in your veil flow and explore many ways to dance with a non-kinetic weighted veil.
I recommend non-static-ey tighter fitting clothing for this, or as little clothing as you’re comfortable wearing!
You can measure your progress through this series by noticing how you surrender to the silk, and focus more on “being” rather than “doing”. Slip into your senses and become still as you flow.
