experimentation in studio, nature, and stage over the course of my weighted veil

journey starting in 2009. And, much of this is built upon the movement training I’ve

had since the age of 5 - which is ever evolving and flowing in ways to this day.

With over 26 classes + 17 tutorials + 4 movement meditations, there is so much here

for you to dive into. I encourage you to find your own flow, embody the silk veil in

your own unique way, and slip sweetly into flow state to re-sculpt your neural

pathways towards easefully moving from struggle to flow.

The technical aspects of the silk veil are broken down here at the request of my

students over the years- as my silk veils have blossomed from a personal passion

done in my home studio with my fire & flow troupe to an internationally-wide art

form with weighted veil practitioners all over Europe, Australia, Asia, Central

America, South America, and beyond. It’s pretty incredible to imagine how following

my creative spark one evening created such a domino effect.

7.5-9+ feet long and 45” / 55” wide. Veils come “as is” & all are weighted. The “tails” are opposite the weighted edges & allow for the veil to seem less ‘heavy’ and keeps the veil from getting tangled in itself.

Full sized veils are perfect for :

• Humans around or over 5’5” tall OR moderately advanced flow artists

• Larger performance or practice spaces

• Slower, Bigger Movements + Costume-ey Concepts
