Fire Alchemy is rooted in creating the COMMUNITY we dream of and envision. The 4 pillars structuring our culture are Belonging, Authenticity, Aligned Intention, and Oneness. On this intentional foundation, we embed forever-evolving shared Safety practices to care-fully support the growth of all.
We ask you to show up in the way you wish to be held & hold others in community. We invite you to bring your whole self, respect all (including you), and honor consent in every interaction.
We stand together in a joyful diverse community & hold a safe container for the process of transformation through fire, celebration, connection, and intention.
Connect to like-minded community, awaken your desires, find love within yourself and in the natural surroundings, and learn and grow from the transformational powers of fire.

This gathering combines fire, flow arts, play, nature, intention, ritual, and connection to create an elixir for wondrous transformation within ourselves. Together we focus on the seemingly magical process of alchemy, remembering we’re the gold we seek.
5 days/4 nights of elemental workshops and celebration at the Stronghold Castle in Oregon, Illinois begin Thursday, August 1st with arrivals and ends Monday, Aug 5th with departures.
For lodging, you can camp or bunk up in the castle. Meal plans available at additional cost.
What to expect:
Formal programming will be offered Friday through Sunday to provide free time for community interaction, preparations, grounding, and allow for flexibility with departures.
Morning Yoga, Stretch & Meditation
Flow theory and technique taught by Gaea & Ignite community instructors: Poi, staff, hoop, fans, veils, and more.
Panels, Workshops, & Discussions led by Community Members
Friday at 6pm: The Ignite Fire Keeper Initiation: A comprehensive fire safety training (mandatory)
Nightly Fire Rituals & open-format Fire Dancing Jams
Communal lunch on Saturday included in cost of your ticket.
Participate and/or Witness Saturday night prayerformance!
Explore the Castle, walk the labyrinth, and hike acres of wooded trails. Bring a Bike, especially if you camp!
Leave transformed by engaging in community & celebration.
Ticket & Lodging Options
Camping + Ticket: $444
Tickets include all workshops, classes, rituals, fire circles, & access to the full grounds, including the castle (but not the castle kitchen).
Bring your own tent + camping gear: Radical Self-Reliance! You won’t spend much time at your tent.
Water spigots located near camping, and a rustic pool shower house 10 min walk (near castle). No kitchens are provided, bring your own!
8-10 min walk to the meadow & castle where workshops are held. (Bring a bike! or a 2 min drive. yes, you can drive back & forth).
Plan to pack a day pack for workshops and spend little time at your tent.

A Bunk Bed in the Castle + Ticket: $644
Shared rooms with thin twin mattress bunk beds & shared simple bathrooms with 4-10 people.
Beds are first come, first served - those onsite first pick their rooms first! You may save beds for others.here
There is a very simple but large shared castle kitchen you may use with 2 fridge/freezers, 1 four-burner electric stove + oven, microwave, sink, coffee maker, basic cooking & dining equipment. We recommend bringing a cooler with ice to keep perishables in case the fridges get over-full.
1 set of basic Towel & Linens provided. Extra sets $10/each (cash only) or BYO
Refund Policy: Tickets are fully refundable until July 1, after July 2 tickets are only 50% refundable for any reason (but can be transferrable to another person or to another retreat).

Note: this event is thrown by the community, for the community! Production leads get a modest stipend only, but volunteer dozens of hours to make this happen.
Will you help make it happen? Spread the word, teach a class, volunteer onsite at the fuel depot, safety station, registration, or set up (Thursday) or tear down (Monday)!
