The vision of Fire Alchemy Gathering is to create an abundant fire community here in the Midwest, rooted in creating modern day ritual, mutual appreciation & support of our diverse communities, and embracing radical self-empowerment & transformation through fire.
However, The progress of domestic and global events has brought us to the difficult decision to transmute this year's Fire Alchemy event into local and small gatherings in our respective regions. We encourage you to keep your own internal flames burning bright and, when you are safely able, to contribute to the fire communities in whatever part of the world you inhabit. Major alchemical changes are afoot all around us, and we must support and bolster one another as we each find our own path through.
Thusly, Fire Alchemy will be reduced again, open to Midwest humans of the Ignite Tribe or previous ticket holders, and will be much smaller & "low-key" than before.
We will be changing the gathering as follows:
friday 8/28-sunday 8/30 (arrival friday afternoon after 1pm and exodus sunday before dark)
socially distant camping only (we are no longer renting the castle)
-masks are strongly encouraged while we are gathering, to reduce any virus transmissions.
15-20 participants (no one flying in from out of state)
$111 per person buy-in for the weekend includes:
camping, showers & outhouse & water access (cleaned often for safety)
access to 2 large pavilions for shade, eating, hanging out, etc... + a fire place & a fire pit.
+ 1 fire alchemy healing ritual led by Gaea
2 fire jams co-hosted by the Ignite Tribe (Gaea will be bringing her small outdoor speaker & a dip station & fire safety set up, and select props for sharing by request only!)
3-4 Saturday workshops (1-2 led by Gaea & others TBD)
the chance to teach a workshop to the group & share your skills (if you desire)
access to hiking trails, space for personal reflection in nature, and open fields for spontaneous skill sharing.
As such, We will need to be more radically self-reliant for this gathering! :
your requested responsibilities:
organize your own transportation,
BYO camping set up or camp with someone you're okay with quarantining with. (we are no longer renting the castle lodgings)
embrace living in nature for 3 days
bring/cook/store your own food & beverages (there are no fridges to share)
bring 1-2 gallons of white gas or lamp oil fuel & your own fire gear & safety set up (towel, dip can, lighter, fuel, funnel, containment)
bring your own PPE, hand sanitizer, gloves, etc...
come with an attitude to connect while remaining socially distant & respecting the boundaries of others.
joyfully contribute and help out the Fire community from a safe social distance!
if you already have a ticket you can :
a.) donate the cost to help Gaea cover more fuel & supplies
b.) be refunded your balance minus the cost of $101
c.) be completely reimbursed!
